The Problem
Right now, too many voices go unheard.
- Patients often feel ignored and worried when they speak about their care.
- Clinicians can stay silent out of fear of speaking up.
- When no one listens, mistakes repeat that could have been prevented. This silence costs lives, damages trust, and holds back change.
The Solution
The National Patient–Clinician Engagement Hub is the first of its kind in Australia. It’s a safe space where patients and clinicians can share their experiences.
The Hub will:
- Create a National Storybank to collect real stories that highlight what’s working and what needs to change.
- Provide training and resources so people can speak with confidence and be part of the conversation.
- Work with government and healthcare leaders to shape better policies and safer services.
- Run public campaigns that shine a light on preventable harm and build a culture of listening.
Impact Goals
By its third year, the Hub aims to:
- Gather over 1,000 patient and clinician stories in one trusted place.
- Train 300 health professionals and patient guides to share their voices safely and powerfully.
- Deliver policy briefs that bring real stories into national health decisions.
- Help shift the culture in healthcare, less silence, more care.
We thrive on open communication and creativity, constantly challenging each other to innovate and find better solutions.
